Hierophant Meadery is a domestic winery located in Mead, WA in the Green Bluff Association of farms. Hierophant specializes in botanically infused (Metheglin style) meads crafted with Northwest honey. We are committed to the metheglin style of mead making, and source or harvest many of the plants used in our product locally. Spiced Apple Session

A classic spiced-apple mead with a few twists. American Ale yeast ferments the honey, and at its finish a caramelized apple reduction made in-house, adding toasty flavors usually associated with Belgian candi sugar. Herbal and spice additions such as star anise, nettle, clove, ginger, rooibos tea and cinnamon bring the season to life. 5.5% ABV. Session meads are beer-strength mead, served carbonated, meant to be enjoyed by the pint, and make great, gluten-free additions to your taproom!

Ginger Pear Session

Inspired by the mead maker’s first homebrewed mead, Ginger Pear is a “beer-strength” mead fermented with Belgian Saison yeast. Infused with both fresh and dry ginger additions, and sweetened back with in-house pear reduction. 5.0% ABV. Session meads are beer-strength mead, served carbonated, meant to be enjoyed by the pint, and make great gluten-free additions to your taproom!
